R Is For Rabbit

Snow is still on the ground
but I am bringing out the
 Easter Bunnies!
R Is For Rabbit!
My favorite decorations
are the ones my kids made
 with their tiny little hands
long long ago!
This one was made 12 years ago!
He is missing an ear
which makes him
all the more cuter!
Look at the red marker scribble
where she tried to write an R
with her chubby little fingers!

This guy looks like a cross
 between a rabid dog
and
 an angry rabbit!
Still very cute!

Their tails are still intact!

Well kind of!

Here is a perky little rabbit!
It reads....I am some-bunny!
This little guy is about
10 years old!

He has a back side too!
Lots of glitter!
Important!

Here is your more modern
and
hip
bunny set!
She is checking
him out for sure!

So hop on over to the craft box and let your babies get to work!
They will create keepsakes for a lifetime!
Makes A Mama Proud!

Spring Is Coming?

Although Spring is NOT
just around the corner yet for the folks of
Colorado
Mama Holli's Backyard

It might be SPRINGY where you live!
Let's say for instance
CALIFORNIA!
Mama Julie's Backyard!

Both equally beautiful but one is WARMER than the other!
So a Mama can DREAM
can't she!
And
DREAMING
SHE WILL DO!
Let's talk Farmer's Markets

FRESH PRODUCE

People Wearing SHORTS!
BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS
WONDERFUL
FOOD VENDORS

Little Italy Market
in San Diego
AND
MOST
IMPORTANT
SUNSHINE
LOTS
AND
LOTS
OF
SUNSHINE

So if you are a Mama who is lucky enough to have
a warm patio to soak in some good old Vitamin D,
then you best take advantage of it!

Recipe For Yellow Cupcakes

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups canola oil
2 1/2 cups grated carrots
Frosting
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, room temperature
1 stick salted butter, room temperature
1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
yellow sprinkles

Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Add eggs and vegetable oil. Using a hand mixer, blend until combined. Fold in carrots.
Pour into cupcake liners in your muffin pan.  Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes. Remove cupcakes from pan, place on wire rack and allow to cool completely before frosting.

Prepare frosting by blending all frosting ingredients with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy.  Spread generous amount on each cupcake and top with yellow sprinkles.

What A Candle Can Do

One
Single Lit Candle
Can Change One's
Mood
Instantly!
It Can Take You Down
A
New Path
Even
Calm Your
Spirit
The scent can bring back
a memory or feeling
The Light can make
one
Happy and Cheerful
It can make one
sad or melancholy
The LIGHT
creates
CHANGE

So Go Ahead
and
LIGHT
the candle!
YES, the fancy, expensive one
given to you as a gift!
The one you have
been saving for a special occasion!
Erma Bombeck once wrote an article named,
If I Had My Life To Live Over,
where she states various things she would have done differently.
One of her regrets,
"I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage."
We Get It Don't We?
So do it today!
Burn it!
Enjoy it!
Love it!
Consume it!
Use it all up!
Take it all in!
Don't wait for the perfect day!
For
TODAY
IS
PERFECT!
