Chirp Chirp Chirp!

The Wires Are So
Still and High

The Wires are so still and high
We never hear the words go by,
Yet messages fly far and near-
I wonder if the birds can hear.
And when they perch on wires and sing
I wonder if they're listening.
And telling out to earth and sky
A lovely word is going by!

I love flipping through old Children's books.
The words and illustrations
are so simple and pure.
Reflecting a time that was more
simple and pure as well.
This little bird was chirping
to me as I walked one afternoon!
Birds are not the only

Hearty Czech Meal

My Granny was a Czech Mama!
She had many wonderful gifts.
One of her greatest gifts
she shared was her cooking
and baking!
She was a fabulous cook!
She always kept all who
were blessed to enter her home
full with love and food!

A simple Czech meal!
Potatoes mixed with sauteed onions,
sausage and homemade bread!
Of course not pictured on the side
are peaches, pickles and a simple salad.
