Handmade Christmas Ornaments

Mama is CRAFTY!
Well KINDA....
I finally found a craft that fits my talent level.
It really is pretty easy and very inexpensive.
I used old grocery paper bags,
old buttons, construction paper,
thread and a hot glue gun.
Cut a long stip from the brown bag
and then fold it like an accordion back and forth.
You can trim the ends in a pattern if you like.
Pull it together in a circle and hot glue
the ends to secure a circle.
Embellish with a cute button and circle of cardboard.
Tie a ribbon, thread or string at the end to hand it on the tree!
So easy and so simple!
Don't forget to sig and date it on the back!

Mama Gets Her Christmas Craft On

So what can a mama and her baby girl do with some
old jars, old books, ribbon and miniature Christmas trees?
 A LOT
says
Mama
A LOT!

Miniature Trees - Dollar Store
Ribbon - Mama's Closet
Old Glass Jars - Mama'a Garage
Old Books - Mama'a Basement

Mama
is
a
HOARDER
YES
SHE
IS

Sad but true!

How cute are these little guys?
Way Cute
says
Mama

Hot glue the trees in place.
Add a little shredded book pages
or
fake snow
Put the lid on nice
and
tight
AND
YOUR DONE!

Not a creature was stirring
not even
a
Mama

Peace Out

I NEED To Make These Elves!

These Perky Pine Cone Elves
Are Calling My Name.......
"Mama....Oh Mama!"
They Take Me Back To My Childhood!

So since we are talking about elves!
Let me introduce you to some Texas Elves!
The one on the right making the evil face
is related to me!  I won't say how, but he is!
Yes I am claiming him!
Pretty Big Elves wouldn't you say!
As they saying goes......
Everything is bigger and better in Texas!
Yee Haw!
Sorry I got a little off task!
I'm Back Now!

Here are the Elf Ornaments from my childhood!
Very cute but smaller than what
I remembered as a child!
Here is my attempt to duplicate them!
Hence the word ATTEMPT!

Well Maybe NOT!
They look like a cross between an
Elf and an Indian!

They are Friendly Little Indian Elves!
Their Eyes Are Looking A Little Angry!
I will have to perfect these a little!

An Old Tray And A Beautiful Vintage Graphic!

My youngest daughter loves to create
whether it be in the kitchen or craft room!
You give her a project and she is there!
She is a Taskmaster!
She created this lovely Christmas tray
with a 99 cent tray from The Goodwill
and an image of a
Poinsettia Fairy from non other than
The Graphics Fairy!
Thank you to
